  I was moved to Auckland from Queenstown in order to work alongside my employers in conceptualizing, project managing & eventually opening a new restaurant/nightclub in the Auckland CBD. After the designing, refitting and launching phase was over, I continued on as General Manager. With my directors based overseas my role was autonomous & I was solely responsible for all operations, personnel, finances, administration, and marketing for this high volume, high turnover & high profile hospitality business. During my time as GM Cassette was named in the top 10 new venues by Metro Magazine.I chose pass on this stressful but rewarding role in September 2010 at the birth of my daughter Chloe.

  A small digital print company based out of Queenstown, NZ, 3Fold was a project started by my husband, brother in law & myself. It grew within a year from a small home-based business into a digital print studio. We merged in 2007 with BSC, growing the business once again. In August 2012 the business was sold to Sign It Signs.   I started at the World Bar as a seasonal bartender. In April 2003 I was requested by the owners to return and take on the permanent role of Co-General Manager. In this position I developed my skill in managing a large team & overseeing all aspects of a high volume and high turnover business. During my time as GM we were voted “Best Bar in NZ” in the Golden Backpack AwardsThis role finished up when my employers moved me to Auckland to launch Cassette Number Nine.   Ruby Lake Resort is an extremely fast paced restaurant serving authentic, locally sourced Northern Italian cuisine. I started here as a waitress, and over the years worked up to head waitress. This extremely popular restaurant has a friendly, casual atmosphere, while providing excellent food and professional service. My waitressing developed here to where I was confident, understood the importance of tailoring your interactions with the customers to their needs and wants, and was able to work extremely efficiently.
