The objective of the internship is to gain a rigorous hands-on engineering experience. Internship aims to promote lifelong learning necessary for professional practice and make the individual technically and practically strong.It was a golden opportunity for me to get chance to experience what it feels to be in a company where discipline, quality and hard work are the motto. The internship was beneficial in learning about various practices adopted in the field of construction. This training helped me a lot in bridging the gap between the theoretical and the practical aspects of my knowledge.I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to carry out my final year project work on Construction Project Management in such an esteemed organisation.

Practical knowledge differs to a greater extent than the knowledge books share. One might be very strong with academics but without practical knowledge he/she would never reach better heights in the construction industry as a professional.Being a Civil Engineering student it is very important to know about the roles a Civil Engineering plays in the industry. It is equally important to learn various phases of a construction project, methods adopted, type of people involved to get the work done. In this internship I was assigned various tasks related to Analysis & Design Of Structures along with regular site visit for practical knowledge.
