  During my time at the writing center, I tutored and assisted peers in literacy concepts, such as grammar, punctuation, and spelling, aiding students in the correction of formatting errors in regard to APA, MLA, and Chicago style especially. I made recommendations and presented students with the necessary sources to continue to make progress and improvements on their own. I also learned better, unique teaching strategies for ESL students and disabled students.
