I deal with several hundred children at Kid's College. It is a summer program filled with educational camps for kids, grades k-6th. Each week of the month (June and July) consisted of different activities and camps. They are open from Monday-Thursday, and held at both Rose State College and Traub Elementary School off of Sooner and SE 15th Street. My job, which started at 7:30am, was to help sign in the parents and their children by scanning assigned cards into the computer. I was then charged with watching the Early Drop Off students from 7:30am to 9:00am. After which, I would clean the lunch tables and continue helping with the signing and dropping off of late kids. The first day of each week consisted of organizing release forms for activities and acquiring tee-shirt sizes for the children and possibly the parents. The second day of each week, once we got the order of tee-shirts in, my co-workers and I put the orders together for each child and distributed them. The rest of the days consisted of checking up on each class, running errands and or assisting teachers. My days ended at 12:00pm with the signing out of some of the kids and their parents. Show less
