    • Member Service Representative
      • Oct 2016 - Present

The main duties of my position are completing teller transactions, clerical work and customer service. As a member-focused credit union, much of my day is spent interacting with members face-to-face as well as over the phone. I am responsible for a cash drawer of up to $12,000 and assist members with cash and check transactions as well as ACH originations, wire transfers, loan and credit card payments, payroll, money orders, and other assorted financial services. Computer programs used daily include FedComp, Excel, Word, Outlook and Skype. In addition to my responsibilities as a Member Service Representative, I have been entrusted with various other roles as needed by the credit union, including assisting with lending and marketing. As a lender, I have analyzed credit reports and submitted loan applications as well as closed loans by completing loan paperwork with members. My marketing responsibilities include the graphic design of promotional materials for the credit union's monthly loan specials. This requires the completion of at least one flyer and website ad per month, as well as distribution of the marketing materials to employees at all of the credit union's branches along with representative of local labor unions for promotion to members and eligible potential members. • Assistant Manager
      • Mar 2015 - May 2016

As the Assistant Manager, I was the leader of the second and third shifts of a fast-paced, high-energy sandwich shop. These shifts included the late-night bar rush on the weekends, during which we experienced high-volume sales requiring extensive time management and quick thinking in order to ensure the best customer experience possible. Daily responsibilities included overseeing employees and maintaining a balance allowing the most cost-effective labor allowance while ensuring the highest level of customer service possible. I completed daily shift paperwork and cash drawer balancing, preparing bank deposits of up to $3,500 per shift, as well as employee paperwork for new hires. I was also responsible for receiving weekly truck orders and daily produce orders. In October 2015, I completed an extensive two-week certification course at the company headquarters in Charleston, Illinois. Show less
