-Worked on a research project addressing bronchopulmonary dysplasia; A chronic lung disease that affects newborns (mostly premature) and infants. It results from damage to the lungs caused by mechanical ventilation (respirator). -Developed and executed MATLAB codes to automate the measurement of MPA’s (Main Pulmonary Artery) diameter. The MPA/AAO (Ascending Aorta) ratio is the parameter that helps detect Pulmonary hypertension(if the ratio <1). -Worked on a research project addressing bronchopulmonary dysplasia; A chronic lung disease that affects newborns (mostly premature) and infants.
