During a 5-hour long live broadcasting, I was publishing social media content on the live TV feed by using a Vizard programme specially coded and developed for the TV broadcast use. The task was extremely fast paced and required exquisite eye for detail. I learned more about TV gallery work, achieving to share audience's social media content appropriately and efficiently. Creating online stories for a Hula hula Suomi TV broadcast and online campaign, which aimed to create a new dance world record for the midsummer festivities. Also edited short videos, photo-shopped images and did copy-writing for a promotional poster image. Campaign was successful in motivating the Finns to dance and learn the choreography despite lacking in numbers for a new world record.

During summer I uploaded content to the Finnish public broadcaster's, Yle's, online player, Yle Areena, uploaded photos to Yle's image database, and wrote articles to Yle's publishing outlet Fynd. My task was to update our website yle.fi/euroviisut, come up with a social media publishing schedule and introduce our Finnish audience to this years Yle Eurovision team and performer, "Sandhja". This was accomplished by writing various online articles and planning and editing a radio podcast of the delegate's preparation for the competition. At Yle, I divided my work hours between two different TV productions. For Noin viikon uutiset, a politics and current affairs satire, I developed our social media publishing plan and researched the archives for the script writes in order to create shareable video clips and held an active presence on our show's Twitter and Facebook. I shared the best content from each aired episode to our online platforms and monitored our followers activity. For Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, the Finnish Eurovision qualifier competition I set up goals and guidelines for the Eurovision candidates social media presence. Together with the Online Producer we organised comprehensive social media training for the participants before the live shows started and helped all equally with any issues. Before and during the broadcasting weeks I executed the team's online content plan and created an audiovisual test for viewers. I launched UMK's Snapchat account and implemented a Snapchat campaign where all finalists took over our Snapchat in turns.

    • Assistant Producer

Produced an annual Student Radio Festival in Helsinki together with Justus Laitinen and the Äänipolku association. Researched and booked judges for the competition categories, searched for sponsors and liaised with the association representatives from various Finnish radio colleges in order to assure everyone had a good time at the festival. Hosted the judges on the third day of festival, made rehearsing schedules for the students and briefed the students about the running order of the live radio show hosting competition. During the festival days, I updated the social media channels, took photos and was in charge of updating the winners on the Word Press based website.
