Bio
Laura Walter (she/her)
My name is Laura Walter and I’m a Senior Economist at the PJM Market Analysis Department. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Sasser since he began here at PJM. Jonathan Sasser is a pleasure to work with; he’s optimistic, bright, driven and learns quickly. He’s able to start in the middle of a process and figure out how it works upstream and downstream, as well as any possible pitfalls in a proposed plan. He is very ambitious and enthusiastic, has fantastic attention to detail and is my favorite person to edit any of my work. Jonathan is also at ease leading meetings, interacting with upper management and comfortable in every situation I’ve seen him in. Jonathan has lead, organized, edited and developed PJM’s internal market updates. He’s become an expert in energy and capacity markets, gas-electric coordination, demand response, and overall how PJM works.

Jonathan is a powerful performer who can balance the very rare mix between meticulous attention to detail and wisdom of high-level vision. He is great to work with and will always go to bat for you.
