Ghent, Flemish Region, Belgium IMEC (Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre) is focused on cutting edge research in AI and nanotechnology. I interned in the healthcare sector at imec working on nanopore technology and signal processing algorithms. I focused on creating and implementing, in python, noise detection algorithms such as CUSUM, mean drift , KDE plots , to be used on large data sets (~ 5 million data points ) collected from experiments

Belgium Our mission is to optimize a student’s work and study time for the IB. My co-founder and I are developing an app that takes a student’s grade ambitions, current academic proficiency and desired free time to create an efficient study plan. We drove all aspects from conception to working model. We created the content, business model, architecture, recruited a team of four and did the coding. Currently, I am refining & improving the coding, gathering student/teacher feedback to test relevance and… Show more Our mission is to optimize a student’s work and study time for the IB. India The farm has developed a unique concept called ‘Earth’s Logic’, where they farm in ways that mimic forests that are self-sufficient and regenerating. We tested these techniques and taught them to small-scale Indian village farmers. Some of the work I did was to regenerate soil - digging, mulching, collecting cow urine to make ‘jungle juice’ fertilizer. I also delved into the theory behind the farming methods - the Earth (and environment) is viewed as a ‘system’, in which all variables must… Show more The farm has developed a unique concept called ‘Earth’s Logic’, where they farm in ways that mimic forests that are self-sufficient and regenerating. I also delved into the theory behind the farming methods - the Earth (and environment) is viewed as a ‘system’, in which all variables must work in synchronicity – for example, the nutritive needs of the village, or the sociological values of the community have equal importance as the science of sequestering carbon into the soil, or the biology of plants. Arduino Programmer, Experimenter
-
Aug 2018 - Jun 2019
Belgium Independent projects: I have multiple Arduino projects that I design, build and program - from a farm soil-data analysis system to a remote-control toy car. I love working with Arduinos as it takes my passion for computer science and connects it to the physical world.
