I was a research assistant at the Department for Informatics and interested in optimising the behaviour of agents using artificial intelligence, beyond the point of copying and mimicking human capabilities. I began by trying to find an optimal dribbling behaviour for an agent in a team of the Robocup Simulation League. Later I aspired to improve the behaviour of simulated drones, using swarm techniques. My dissertation investigated trajectory optimisation and negotiation of marine vessels.
