Danielle Latendresse
During the 2017 season, Sasan worked with Parks Canada to produce a Fundy Salmon Recovery coffee book. This project came with a wide variety of challenges, as there was heavy partner involvement, site visits required to a different province, the book needed to be formatted in two official languages and this was one of the busiest years in Parks Canada history with Canada 150. To our benefit, Sasan saw all these challenges as opportunities and embraced the culture of the Fundy Salmon Recovery project. During site visits, Sasan integrated himself into the team and presented himself very professionally. Partners, Parks Canada team members, as well as myself, were incredibly pleased with the final product. We were fortunate to have worked with Sasan on this project and look forward to working with him again in the future.

I have had the pleasure of teaching and mentoring Sasan in a number of design classes and projects. His attention to detail, his work ethic and his execution in all facets of design is excellent. He has a very professional multidisciplinary approach to problems solving and opportunity identification across all areas of design and strategic thinking.

IDEA is a multidisciplinary collaborative initiative that integrates NSCAD Design with Dalhousie's Faculty of Engineering and the Rowe School of Management. The IDEA Sandbox is built around new product development.In this program, we explored design thinking, benchmarking, storytelling and fundamentals of engineering design and communication. During the last three weeks, we designed a product and developed a prototype for the final presentation.
