It is a pleasure to be Sarim's immediate colleague at Nottingham College. Sarim continues to be excellent in his teaching, both in the classroom with his students and with his colleagues. Sarim is a teacher who devotes a great amount of personal effort and interest to his daily teaching activities, as well as to his students. As one would expect, sarim's contributions to the the course that he teaches, is contributed significantly to its success and in a receptive way is only growing and improving every year. In that regard, I commend sarim for the ways in which he regularly responds positively to his students and colleagues across board. Sarim is constantly making an outstanding contribution to teaching, as evidenced being graded 1 on his observations and on a whole to the engineering department. In addition, I can honestly suggest that not only your colleagues find you to be quite candid in discussions but always ready to listen and be a team player but so do your students which have disclosed to me to feedback on many occasions. Sarim will be an excellent attribute to any teaching/learning organisations, as he takes a pleasure to teach from the heart and not from books. Thank you for being a great colleague, look forward to many more working years ahead. Norz

Prior to my current role I was a highly experienced Engineer Technician, who came with a track record of successfully using tools, to repair & maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. This role taught me the skills to work comfortably in a highly critical, fast paced environment which the health and safety for students and staff was a paramount. As a true all-rounder, I have the experience of ordering, stock taking, conducting safety checks, class preparations, workshop inductions, covering all purchasing, maintenance/repairing and workshop management.
