Main accomplishments have been development and support resource optimization that gained 50% cost saving, application support need reduction with 60%, customer satisfaction increase to 4+ of scale 1-5, Nokia products quality increase and end user work optimization with automation enablement utilizing S2S integrations. Computing cost reduction with 30% with HW virtualization and more aggressive data archiving. Service availability exceeded the SLA target level of 99.8. High employee satisfaction level gained e.g. with management and spirit of the team.

Work also included program manager tasks to look after 15+ simultaneous development & global deployment projects. Service management including all related responsibilities. Main accomplishments were to meet Nokia’s manufacturing peak volumes (15 million devices /month per factory), automate factory processes to increase manufacturing efficiency, production capacity and product quality. System availability target gained at level of mission critical system (SLA 99.9%) Development work off-shoring to Chennai/India was done successfully. Driving and implementing new efficient development and support work method from traditional project work to adopt agile methodology as first organization in Nokia IT organization. This organizational MoO change increased efficiency with average of 20% after 6 months transfer period.

Main accomplishments were new SAP services implementation, like SAP APO and NetWeawer platforms, meeting new system requirements proactively, meeting mission critical level availability targets continuously. Implementation of SAP system split to separate Nokia Mobile Phones and Nokia Siemens Networks to their own SAP system landscapes.
