Gained progressive leadership experience over the years. With a team of staff planners, managed and led diverse planning efforts and implemented legislative mandates, led Policy implementation including directing technical workflow and garnering member buy-in and commission adoption. • Developed scope, schedule, and budget for key initiatives, and hired and managed large consultant teams to successfully complete plans through stakeholder and public outreach process. • Effectively collaborated with internal departments and external stakeholders, including local, regional, and state partners; elected officials; and technical and special interest groups. • Chaired and/or represented agency on various forum panels, including leading the regional committees, and working with the state. • Pushed for solutions that support transit and alternative modes employing emerging technologies and services. • A few of my highlight initiatives include - spearheading and completing many firsts/unique plans in Alameda County or in the Bay Area region: o First Alameda County Transportation Technology Plan (New Mobility Roadmap for Alameda County) o First Countywide Multimodal Arterial Plan for Alameda County (identifies and prioritizes continuous and connected multimodal improvements on 1,200 miles of arterial roadways). Claimed to be the first of its kind in the nation. o 30-mile Multimodal Arterial Corridor project – E14th/Mission/Fremont Boulevard - identified many innovative solutions including 10 mobility hubs around major transit hubs o Integrated Transit and Park and Ride Study for the Tri-Valley Area o Performance Evaluation for the first Express Lane (I-680) in the Bay Area for the state legislature Show less
