Cummins Power Generation G-Drive Customer Engineering Control Systems Intern Electronic Subsystem Engineering Team (ESSIT) Utilized my skills in National Instruments (NI) Labview and TestStand to create Automated tests for Controls group: 1) Automated Transparency testing for new Engine Calibration Software: - Simulated on-engine test by running new calibration software on test bench and created baseline data for the engine platforms. -Utilized NI TestSatand to develop the test and PCANview for datalink troubleshooting. - Reduced throughput time to deliver engine baseline data with new calibration software by decreasing dependency on engine testing and test cell resources. 2) Automated the process of creating an Engineering Job Request (EJR): - Created the tool using NI TestStand which searches calibration parts data requested by the user and populates it into automated EJR form. - Reduced throughput time and user errors in EJR report for calibration release processes. - Trained ESSIT team members to utilize the Automated tool to create EJR request for specified engine platform. - Incorporated updates to the tool with inputs gathered from the users post training sessions.
