  - Presented as the Lead Self-Sufficiency Coordinator over IMPACT Community Actions Sojourn, Women's Empowerment Initiative and built a women's empowerment program from square one with funding from the City of Columbus and various sponsors. - Acted as a Workforce Development, Self-Sufficiency Coordinator with the goal of assisting the group with becoming self-sufficient within a year and obtaining employment with a livable wage. - Managed a $400,000 budget including salaries, transportation, training, stipends, outreach, program supplies, contractual, special events, client assistance, etc. - Recruited 25 participants that met the demographics of the pilot program - Interviewed and conducted an intake process on interested participants - Referred participants to outside supportive organizations that did not qualify for the program - Created focus targets to purposely diversify the initiative - Utilized the Arizona Matrix to assess the barriers of the participants by the specified domain (transportation, employment, shelter, food, education, etc) using a metric scale. - Built a case management plan based on the metric scale of the initial Arizona Matrix assessment. - Followed participants throughout the journey to self-sufficiency while providing wrap-around supportive services. - Enrolled participants into certificate/certification programs - Conducted resume writing workshops - Sought out and scheduled outside speakers and activities centered around empowerment - Planned and orchestrated a Gala celebration Show less
