I am pleased to have the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation in support of Sarah Wollring. I was Sarah Wollring's Management and Organisational Behaviour lecturer in Year 2 Semester 1 and after that, her graduation mentor (in year 4). I can confirm that she has outstanding academic skills. She obtained top marks in both written and oral examination during my modules and delivered high quality presentations. She has excellent writing skills and is able to critically evaluate theories and question certain issues in class. Ms. Wollring had a great interest in her graduation topic and was very engaged during our consultancy sessions. She is very hard working, reliable and a highly committed student. I would like to highlight not only her academic talent but also her outstanding communication and social skills. This combination of analytical and social skills in combination with an excellent attitude towards her studies, make Ms. Wollring one of my top ranking students. From my experiences teaching and mentoring Ms. Wollring, I am in no doubt that she will be highly committed to any organization she will be employed at. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any additional questions. Kind regards, Ms. M. van den Meiracker, PhD Senior Lecturer AVANS School of International Studies Email: mm.vandenmeiracker@avans.nl Mobile: +31 (0) 65313 1010

I worked for ‘Mikoko Pamoja’, the world's first carbon offset mangrove conservation project on which I conducted my MSc research in summer 2017. Although it is community-led, the local sub-station of Kenya Marine Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI) provides technical support to the project which is why I was largely involved with KMFRI staff and their research. I assisted several research projects such as the introduction of energy-efficient cookstoves, impact of fisheries on seagrass meadows as well as blue carbon project replication in Vanga, southern coastal Kenya.
