Sarah is the most authentic Teaching Elder of Presbyterian background I know. Her many years of experience in pastoral care and chaplain work is a great assets to a non-profit social organization. Her theological education and social work studies prepared her so well that her work in a church and in a hospital has been outstanding. She will be a great help to further worthy causes and goals of a board if she is properly recruited to serve as a member of the board.

As a P/E Facilitator, I work with dating, engaged, or married couples in churches, counseling centers, and communities. I help couples identify their relationship strengths, gain understanding about the underlying dynamics that influence their communication, and then help couples develop skills to improve their growth areas. As the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Mission, my portfolio included the mission/volunteer commitments of the church, as well as the pastoral care of the congregation, with particular attention to homebound and elderly members, new and younger members, and the work of the Board of Deacons. Along with the other pastoral staff, I had weekly responsibilities for worship, monthly preaching, facilitation of the New Member classes, staff support for a number of committees, and leadership development.
