*Fight Back For Ukraine* is a volunteer-run organization supplying Drones, Thermal Imaging equipment, Mine Detectors, Range Finders, and Helmets to help save civilian and soldier’s lives. The mission is to provide these supplies to keep Ukrainian fighters alive, uninjured, and safe(r) so that freedom and democracy may prevail. We have been continuously receiving personal messages from Ruslana Lyzhychko on how much our equipment is needed and appreciated. Ruslana is the World Music Award and Eurovision Song Contest winning recording artist, holding the title of People's Artist of Ukraine. She is also a former MP serving as deputy in the Ukrainian parliament for the Our Ukraine Party. She is currently part of Ukraine's fighting force. **Update Ruslana, the Ukrainian State Emergency Services, Commanders from the 34th, 111th, and 112th brigade as well as the Ukrainian Central Army Command are sending whole lists to us on exactly what equipment is needed and which Ukrainian fighter groups will receive those items. Fighting Back For Ukraine is an all-volunteer organization created in March of 2022. A full 100% of any contributions goes toward the purchase of equipment delivered directly into the hands of Ukrainians forced to defend their lives, families, and livelihoods from the Russian invasion. GSI uses satellite imagery to interpret natural resources on earth's surface. On behalf of GSI, I created a variety of designer maps to interpret GSI's remote sensing data. I was also involved in creating marketing, social media, and website content. Additionally, I supported GSI in building the GSI brand through a variety of tasks such as creating a brand style guide and working in a team to optimize the brand pyramid. For my maps, I used ArcGIS Pro and QGIS to conduct GIS analysis and advanced map design techniques to tell GSI's data production story. Along with Adobe Photoshop and Affinity Designer to support my design work.
