Sarah was Governor Richardson's Energy and Environmental Policy Advisor when I was employed as the Green Economy Manager in New Mexico. Sarah served on the Green Jobs Cabinet that I coordinated and as a primary liaison for me in the Governor's Office. Sarah was a champion within the Governor's Office and at the legislature on behalf of policies that supported the growth of the green economy. She was intimately involved in crafting and advancing significant renewable energy and energy efficiency policies that were implemented during her tenure. This included the creation of the Renewable Portfolio Standard and the Renewable Energy Transmission Authority as well as utility requirements for energy efficiency and several green business incentives. In particular, she was extremely helpful in securing support for the green economy initiatives on which I worked. Sarah provided a strong commitment to quality and professionalism which ensured that our initiatives were truly ready to be successful when she gave the go ahead. I enjoyed working with her and recommend her highly.
