Sarah and I worked closely together at IOOF for 8 years. As head of compliance I was responsible for ensuring all marketing material met our legislative compliance obligations. Sarah constantly impressed me with her ability to manage the conflicting demands of her stakeholders where financial planners wanted to 'sell the sizzle' and my compliance team often took a more sober view. Sarah brought her stakeholder management skills to the challenge and skilfully reconciled the polar opposite positions sometimes arising between these different groups of stakeholders. Sarah used her financial services knowledge and advanced writing skills to craft content that would please the most demanding stakeholders whilst still keeping within the envelope of what the compliance team would allow. Her skills in this regard surpassed what would meet the standard for marketing communications in a busy and demanding financial services environment. Sarah was a joy to work with and made the most challenging jobs rewarding. I would dearly like to work with Sarah again and readily endorse her for any role which she seeks.
