I am leading the team that is building the Provincial Employment Strategy for Youth with Disabilities. I monitor and manage project progress, organize work, communicate goals, lead team and stakeholder meetings, support problem solving, and ensure project work remains within scope of our deliverables. I also liaise with our provincial advisory group and manage all project communications and stakeholder engagement. Our project seeks to unify the patchwork of employment services for youth with disabilities across British Columbia. We are working with a Provincial Stakeholder Network to develop a coordinated employment strategy that fills service gaps, outlines youth-focused best practices for employment support, creates opportunities for cross-province collaboration, connection and resource sharing, and improves employment outcomes for youth with disabilities in British Columbia. • May 2021 - May 2022

Responsible for the design and development of a new community-based caregiver support program. In consultation with a project Steering Committee, my role is to translate high-level concepts into tangible program infrastructure that align with the mission, values and future-state goals of Victoria Hospice. I apply analytical thinking and creative problem solving to convert big-picture ideas into operational program components that function together as a cohesive whole. I collaborate with project stakeholders and various subject matter experts to ensure development considers all needed perspectives. Show less

    • Program Developer/Coordinator
      • Feb 2019 - May 2021

Led the development and implementation of the L.I.F.E.-Based Pilot program. I designed, developed and tested all program infrastructure, which included a comprehensive staff training program, a unique reporting structure (with specially designed reporting tools), and a community of practice for pilot staff. I also represented Lifetime Networks at multiple Action Learning Group conferences, which were held for all agencies piloting the program. During one such conference, I prepared and delivered a presentation on the pilot experience to 100+ disability support professionals. In April of 2020, I also took on the Summer Inclusion Service program. This program was adopted by Lifetime Networks when Recreation Integration Victoria closed it's doors. I managed the transition process, and oversaw the implementation of the program. This involved hiring and mentoring a staff team and managing program registrations, scheduling and client support plans. Show less
