I strongly believe creativity is one of the most important skills for success, in culture, business and education. People need to think differently to innovate and solve the problems of the world, be they local or global, and collaborating across disciplines and with diverse creatives, in my experience, nurtures the most impactful new ideas. To make this happen, we need to develop educational and working environments and public spaces in which people feel free to speak openly, experiment, take risks, fail from time to time and learn from those experiences. As a creative leader I work in partnership with clients to co-design the bespoke programmes they need to best address the challenges they face and empower and inspire their people - be they staff, students, audiences or customers. This includes supporting culture change in companies and behaviour change in people, to be creative and innovate, using a variety of tools and approaches including design thinking, growth mindset and mindfulness. It also means doing what I love - sourcing and working with exceptional talent in the creative industries and connecting them with interesting clients and spaces to activate great potential and produce meaningful outcomes, from exhibitions and events to customer experiences, workshops and products. I am fascinated by how we teach people and learn to be creative and innovative. I have experienced how much joy and energy creativity can bring to the work and lives of both children and adults, the value of collaborating with creative practitioners and how creativity can be programmed into a strategy. After working for a number of leading cultural organisations in Canada, the UK, Singapore and Japan, and across various sectors including education, retail and science, I am dedicated to sharing my passion for creativity. My goal is to use what I learned to help as many people and organisations as possible develop their creative confidence and reach their full potential. Show less
