Reporting into the UK CIO, representing the UK firm across the global PwC technology organisation, and advising the C-Suite on UK technology strategy. I led the alignment of UK technology strategy to global PwC strategy for end to end client and engagement business capabilities. I brought together data, process, tech, UX and change teams to build a roadmap of transformational change focused on empowering people and simplifying their work. Driving process simplification, breaking down cross functional boundaries and enhancing the experience of our people and clients by leading digital transformation and organisational design. Highlights: - - Mobilised Exec Board sponsored programme for £20 million 5 year solution adoption roadmap, including Replicon, Salesforce CPQ+, SAP S/4 HANA. Led business analysis and road mapping, introduced new architectural roles, recruited core roles and secured budget. - Worked in partnership with the Sales & Marketing COO to establish cross functional governance across the end to end client and engagement life cycle to reduce siloed technology investment decisions, reduce duplication of technology, manage interdependencies and improve the user experience. - Co-authored the redesign of the IT operating model to deliver greater value to internal customers by embedding Agile ways of working and productising our capabilities and services, and led the change and comms workstream to embed the change. - Designed and led a global project to establish multiple territory requirements for time recording, absence management and billing. Highlights:- Established new internal data requirements for monitoring of academic quality to move towards a more risk based and proportionate approach to targeting areas for improvement. - Identified £500k funding opportunity for a project that targeted personal and academic support at narrowing the gap in student achievement and ambition for BME students.- Identified gaps in the training and support for Programme Leaders and commissioned research into how that gap should be filled through professional development. - Chair of the 2017 NACADA International Conference hosting over 200 delegates from 19 countries across 4 days to discuss the future of academic advising against a challenging higher education landscape. Led the UK Commission‘s contribution to the Labour Government’s new 14-19 National Diploma for all schools in England and broader 14-19 qualifications reform across the UK. Agreed partnership working with 25 Sector Skills Councils (SSCs), the Department for Education, and the Qualifications & Curriculum Authority. Highlights:- Defined the process by which SSCs researched and articulated the skills needs of employers for the new 14-19 National Diploma. - Designed and delivered training sessions to advise on how to use governance arrangements to sign off qualification content with employers and other stakeholders.- Responsible for the work of the 14-19 Project Manager to ensure that government policy was reflected in the deliverables and contracts for SSCs. - Designed and managed a project to build evidence of 14-19 qualifications needs through national Sector Qualifications Strategies, such that SSCs could contribute to recommendations on the public funding of qualifications.
