  Reporting to the Director of Consulting Services and working with a team of 25 people, I was focused on providing business analysis, process management, technical and project governance to projects. I was involved in analysing, costing and writing proposals and statements of work for CGI. Key Achievements: • I wrote and facilitated the acceptance of security and vulnerability monitoring processes and responsibility matrix to transition a new client to the security operation centre, SOC. The client was successfully transitioned to the SOC. • I facilitated workshops, wrote new / updated procedures and work instructions for the new distribution management system, DMS. The procedures enabled the various stakeholders to use the DMS correctly to meet safety and regulatory obligations. • I managed the defects and agile software releases into a waterfall program of works for the reporting functionality of a data warehouse through engagement of vendor and client stakeholders and subject matter experts. The data warehouse was successfully used for business and regulatory reporting. • As the Test Manager I completed system and UAT testing of a SCADA software upgrade on schedule by managing the test and development teams to perform system testing and resolve defects raised by the system and UAT testing.   As a software developer I developed geographic information system (GIS) software for electricity, gas, water and rail clients. I performed all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC). I produced functional requirements, developed software, wrote test plans, performed unit and system testing, coordinated software releases, supported the system after it had gone live, estimated and implemented enhancements and provided user support. Key Achievements: • I was the team leader for a spatial software development team who successfully implemented a desktop and web-based GIS for a gas and electricity company. I maintained customer satisfaction and relationships such that the support and system enhancement contract was maintained for eight years. • I remotely designed, costed, tested and implemented software enhancements to spatial systems enabling the clients to save costs by not having a dedicated GIS software developer on site. I became a trusted advisor for a number of clients on system enhancements. • I conducted user training course for engineering designers for the newly implemented GIS. This ensured the GIS correctly recorded the electrical network for the business. I remained a trusted advisor to the users after the course. Show less
