Co-Editor of USSO, the postgraduate journal of the British Association for American Studies (BAAS). I manage a team of editors based at universities across the UK to publish quality, research-led articles on all aspects of American studies. My role includes: liaising with writers; commissioning and editing articles; proficiency with Wordpress; increasing audience engagement on the website and social media; leading monthly meetings; reporting back to the BAAS executive team. I also co-host USSOcast, USSO’s podcast which interviews postgraduate researchers on their work. My aim in both these roles is to maintain and expand a strong sense of excitement and community for postgraduate researchers in American studies in the UK. Show less
