Sarah's hands on style of leadership at St. John's Church has led to a massive boom in business as well as community interest from the Richmond area. Her attention to detail, compassion and encouragement of autonomy with her colleagues has given her well-earned respect among her peers in the non-profit community.

Sarah Whiting possess a capability that few in the for-profit or not-for-profit sector truly possess; leadership skills. Real leadership skills. Sarah's leadership leaves those who work with her or for her highly motivated to do their very best work. She leads by showing that she wants you to succeed and does not care where the credit lies. She leads with a genuine enthusiasm that comes from her own extensive research into a project subject matter. She leads by showing she really cares about the project's success above her own self aggrandizement. And she leads by just being a joy in the workplace. I had the great opportunity to produce my favorite project in my 30 year career with Sarah as my guide, my colleague and my support. We produced a documentary called, "Saving Grace-The Resurrection of American History". It was both a futuristic study in new technology and a lesson in the history of Richmond, Va culture and architecture of the early 19th century. It took 3 years to produce, took many, many meetings and presentations to raise the funds, and it took an intense effort to produce while we were doing other work to make our living. Sarah makes every work place better because she's professional above all else, she's highly intelligent with a creative degree of curiosity. She also wants everyone with whom she works to succeed, which removes tension from any work situation and creates an atmosphere of true camaraderie. Sarah would be a great benefit to any organization or company who makes the great decision to hire her. Please feel free to call me if you have further questions.
