I facilitated evidence based curriculums such as Botvin Lifeskills or Project Alert to engage students in active discussions about the harms and risks associated with Substance Use. Under the Tobacco Prevention Grant through the Iowa Department of Public Health: I actively worked to promote Quitline Iowa, a telephone based cessation program that is free for all Iowans. I provided technical assistance to businesses who are looking to update their Smoke-Free/Tobacco Free workplace policies, including updates about new Tobacco Products that are on the market and who they are targeted towards. I also provided training to Dental Clinics who are looking to better assist their patients with the "Ask, Advise, Refer" program. Additional Duties as Assigned: I provided Urine Analysis and Breath Alcohol Testing and Drug Free Workplace Policies to area businesses.
