Sarah is an Australian Lawyer, Registered Trade Marks Attorney and the Managing Director of Marquette IP. Sarah specialises in trade marks and brand protection for the creative sector. Her dealings with a number of high-profile international brands provide she is also experienced in Anti-Counterfeiting Programs, customs proceedings and infringement detection training for Australian Customs & Border Control officials. Uniquely, Sarah expands on the routine practice of IP law by providing consultancy to a number of Digital, Branding & Creative Agencies to maximise investment in intellectual property assets and safeguard the development of unencumbered brands. In collaborating with these Agencies to deliver tailored advice on maximising the value of IP, Sarah draws on industry “know-how” gained from 3 years’ experience working at a Digital & Creative Branding Agency. Sarah holds a double-degree Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Criminology from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Australian National University and is currently completing a Masters of Intellectual Property at the University of Melbourne.
