Wellies

  I built Wellies, a 55 seater wine bar, from the ground up, designing the interior, and recruiting and training a team capable of reaching and maintaining my very high standards in all aspects of the customer experience. I won the Devon Venus award for a new business.Wellies was a chameleon business; morning coffee and breakfast, a popular lunch venue and a busy bar serving premium drinks with tapas and dinner. We delivered consistently good food and customer service which resulted in a loyal following and great reviews.



Chantilly Patisserie

  My partner and I started Chantilly Patisserie from a small unit in Torquay. We had enthusiasm, a great work ethic and a load of second hand equipment. From making cakes and desserts for local hotels and restaurants, we grew Chantilly into a nationwide frozen dessert manufacturer, employing 40 people, serving national and independent food service groups, major pub groups, football clubs and large banqueting facilities.Chantilly was recognised as a business which provided a premium product and a quality service.
