I reviewed and summarized relevant published research to assist the Innovation Fund Team's project on faculty attitudes towards college assessment. I produced annotated bibliographies, clustered topics, kept a glossary of terms, and created comparative spreadsheets through content analysis. I also conducted semi-structured interviews, produced transcripts, and analyzed preliminary data.

I am a founding member of the SEPC for the Science, Medicine, and Society concentration. The SEPC serves as a liaison between students and faculty, engaging in tasks such as evaluating faculty for review, helping select new candidates, discussing the curriculum, and hosting program-sponsored events.

I provided feedback on student writing throughout the writing process. I held weekly office hours and one-on-one meetings, collaborated with the professor on assignment prompts, helped facilitate class discussions, and hosted writing workshops. Through my work, I aimed to help other students become more confident and effective writers.

Philanthropy Chair for Student Alumni Council

I organized and promoted community-building and monthly philanthropic events including National Philanthropy Week, writing encouraging messages to friends during mid-semester exams, and thank-you notes for faculty and staff. I also helped distribute care packages to students and created a budget for a community meal that typically serves around 100 people. I communicated biweekly with fellow student executives and my supervisor, and delegated tasks to committee members as well as facilitated group input on event planning.

I participated in the Grinnell Externship Program which partners current students with an Grinnell alum for a short-term job shadow. I externed at IDEO.org, a nonprofit design studio that is committed to creating a more just and inclusive world. I observed meetings, conducted informational interviews, and developed an understanding of a human-centered design approach in nonprofit work that emphasized local wisdom and flexible collaboration.
