I first met Sarah during the pandemic in 2020 while we were both enrolled virtually in Eleven Fifty Academy's 6-month Web Development program. For our second assignment of the program, Sarah, myself, and a third classmate were teamed up and tasked with building a new app. In our first group meeting, Sarah immediately stood out as a leader by encouraging us focus on determining a problem that could be solved with technology. We decided upon developing an application for caregivers to record activities of daily living, medication intake, and notes in one convenient and password-protected location that could be shared amongst family members and care-team members. Along the way, Sarah was integral in helping our team stay on top of deadlines, consider potential pitfalls, and incorporate accessibility and inclusive language. Following the Web Dev bootcamp, Sarah and I were fortunate to become employed at the same Salesforce partner company and worked together on a few projects; Sarah as Project Manager and myself as Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect. Sarah's incredible organization and communication skills helped our projects move at a steady pace, maintaining a consistent workflow for our team and providing an excellent overall experience for our clients. Sarah exudes empathy, inclusivity, thoughtfulness, kindness, positivity, and joy in all that she does. I strongly recommend Sarah as a top-notch team member for any organization.

I was seriously bummed when I heard that Sarah was leaving our team, because she has been my lighthouse on so many projects! When I'm struggling to remember a conversation with a client that I had a week ago, two weeks ago, or even two months ago, Sarah busts out her incredibly detailed notes and always finds exactly what I need to know. Before I even suggest a follow-up meeting with a client, Sarah has my calendar open and has already identified a handful of potential dates and times. While managing more projects than seems humanly possible, Sarah somehow manages to stay ten steps ahead of her clients and teammates. After just one meeting with a client, she's outlined the project plan from start to finish, complete with dates and detailed line items that may take us as far out as 8-10 months in the future. She somehow manages to align all project stakeholders on the right conversations, at the right time, and brings with her a highly detailed agenda every time. If you're looking for a project manager, or just someone that can guide and unite your team, look no further. You would be hard-pressed to find someone more organized, efficient, patient, kind,...(fill in the blank).
