Title: Occurrence of homocytosed cyanobacteria in aquatic and terrestrial environments in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Advisor: Camila Francieli da Silva Malone - PhD in Plant Biodiversity and Environment Articles published between 2000 and 2020 were selected for bibliographical review based on reflections and theoretical assumptions with important implications for the definition and construction of the concepts discussed in this study: cyanobacteria, taxonomy, homocited cyanobacteria, State of São Paulo. Therefore, such objects will be studied in the secondary sources selected here, such as academic works, articles, etc. The aim of this study was to analyze the occurrence of homocited cyanobacteria in aquatic and terrestrial environments in the State of São Paulo, in order to expand the cataloging of the diversity of these organisms in this region.
