Providing leadership on all aspects of visitor experience at Palace Green Library, the Oriental Museum and Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, including day to day responsibility for the front of house operation and the volunteering programme. Developing, designing and teaching workshops, seminars and other learning activities for undergraduate a& postgraduate students, primary and secondary school students, families and other formal and informal learning groups. Having responsibility for organising events and other activities such as temporary exhibitions, conferences, lectures, seminars etc that encourage and extend engagement with the collections. Founding member of Learning Arc, a regional network of archive education providers who work together to develop best practice and undertake joint initiatives and member of the Co Durham Local Cultural Education Partnership.
