Completed Phase 2 of the emergency department remodel project at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. There is one more phase left in this project, which includes a new CT space, secured holding space, isolation room, and remodel of three treatment bed areas.I am also working on multiple infrastructure upgrade projects at this campus.

I am continuing to work on the emergency department renovation project at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, which is a phased HCAi (formerly known as OSHPD) project in an occupied hospital. During my time as a Project Manager 1, our team completed Phases 1 & 2 (of 3), which included the new emergency department entrance, reception, and public waiting area; two triage rooms; a results waiting space; staff/admin offices and lounge; and thirteen new treatment beds and its ancillary spaces.Responsibilities included cost management (change orders, updating the risk & opportunity log, PSR's, billing, and invoices), updating the schedule, communication with the hospital/users to assist my superintendent with shutdowns that impacted the facilities, and that of a project engineer's responsibilities (RFI's, submittals, etc.). My responsibilities included processing RFI's and submittals, facilitating OAC and subcontractor meetings, updating the schedule, and assisting the project team in any way possible. I learned and adopted Lean principles.
