Code, Registers and Training Manager, Ethics and Compliance Operations
-
Feb 2017 - Sep 2019
I am directly responsible for managing the design, development and launch of Centrica’s Our Code and new Conflicts of Interests and Gifts & Hospitality registers. This involves co-ordinating with a wide-range of internal stakeholders to ensure the design and related documentation are appropriate for all areas and countries. I am also responsible for managing compliance, reporting and input into executive committee papers in relation to my areas of responsibility. I also manage input into the QPR dashboards that are produced for the BUs and Functions across the company.Current critical areas include:• Liaising with internal Subject Matter Experts (SME) to agree core content and additional elements relevant to their areas. Designing the Our Code global intranet pages across all 27 areas of Our Code, agreeing this content with the SMEs.• Investigating and understanding the limitations of Workday data to ensure reporting of training completions was accurate across the group. Ensuring that Centrica achieved 95% training compliance within the set timescales. Worked with the L&D team to create a manual training course for those unable to access Workday.• Utilised Power Apps to create the first global system (Centrica’s Interests Register) to be created using this technology – worked with internal developers in Leicester, and DTS to ensure this application overcame all the issues raised as a result of the new technology and successfully launched in the desired timescales.• Moving the reporting from Excel to Power BI to improve reporting timescales and provide the additional details necessary for all BUs and Functions to better understand the information provided. This also enables the E&C team to combine myriad data across sources to build ethical profiles of these BUs and Functions, to determine where future attention/training should be directed. Show less
