  Created and led day-to-day activities for non-profit, supporting low income landlords in New Orleans. Started the non-profit with competitively awarded seed money from the Idea Village and the Rockefeller Foundation. Partnered with United Way’s Double Home Advantage Programs, which rebuilt low income landlords’ vacant rental units, adding more affordable rental units and providing landlords with much needed income. Front Porch Partners provided all technical assistance, mainly in one-on-one settings to landlord participants: landlord training, all rental documents such as standardized leases, budgeting sessions, and income qualification for all tenants. Created a comprehensive real estate real estate strategy for NHS’s target areas using mapping, data collection, and physical property surveys. Provided project management duties on the construction of NHS’s single-family affordable homes, which included securing entitlements, developing budgets, soliciting and reviewing builder bids, construction management and marketing. Oversaw and directed the work of planning interns. Worked closely with Staff Architect on the creation of innovative, affordable, green housing prototypes.
