After becoming registered, my initial purpose was to recruit a care team of carers and senior carers. To engage with the general public and scheme managers to ensure that TrustCare is seen and that we are known in the health care forum. To build up a team of dedicated carers that would provide a bespoke package of care which is completely person centred, when, how and who the service user would like. Training the carers and changing old patterns of work behaviours so that their confidence grew with support and training and, importantly, working together as a team both in the office setting and the community. To care for every single client 'as they would their own relative' and to keep communications between service user and NOK/advocate very much up to date. To get to know each service user on an individual basis, understand their needs and implement them with the end goal being independent living as far as possible and peace of mind for all. Show less
