Our Ecosystem (OE) is powerful spatial data management platform allowing users to store, analyse and share project critical data with key stakeholders. My role is to build a community of users on OE, primarily focusing on those in the academic field, NGOs and government agencies. Activities include researching potential clients, making contact, arranging meetings and demos, managing and helping new clients, and feeding back comments to developers. Leading the national roll out of the Fair Trade Nurseries Scheme in Scotland. While there is a Fairtrade Schools award and programme in the UK, there is nothing catering for Early Years in Scotland. As the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence covers 3-18yrs, a need for such a scheme was established. My role included building relationships with key stakeholders, such as local authority members, to promote the scheme and encourage engagement, and develop and implement a communications strategy. ACDC is a small, grass-roots NGO working in Hanoi, aiming to empower people with disabilities and other marginalised groups within the community. ACDC offered free legal advice to these groups as well as working alongside government organisations to shape inclusive policy. I worked alongside the director to craft a long term project helping link businesses with people with disabilities and teaching them appropriate skills for the workplace. The project was part of a bid for a large USAID grant for which I supported successful bid for $200,000
