Our 235 acres of woodlands, fields, lake, and streams provide the perfect setting for an immersive outdoor educational experience. • Due to Covid-19, we adjusted the program to cater to individuals and offer a safe, comfortable and fun environment for remote learners. • Our remote learners each had an area of the building to spread out, complete projects and physical education classes with ease. • During breaks, we took our remote learners outside for mask breaks and environmental lessons. Unchained At Last is the only organization in the US dedicated to helping women and girls leave or avoid arranged/forced marriages and rebuild their lives. Unchained provides women and girls with free legal and social services and emotional support. Unchained is also the only nonprofit in the US dedicated to promoting social and policy change to prevent forced marriage. Unchained raises awareness about forced marriage and advocates for relevant legislation. As an Advocacy Intern, I had many tasks with the goal of raising awareness of the issues surrounding child marriage.
