Conducted original research and produced a Policy Brief on “The Impact of COVID-19 on North Carolina” as a Thomas W. Ross North Carolina Leadership Fellow. Served as the team lead for the Poverty, Housing, and Food Insecurity project. The Thomas W. Ross North Carolina Leadership Fellows program was established in 2017 in honor of Thomas W. Ross, former President of the University of North Carolina System. Mr. Ross now serves as President of the Volcker Alliance, a nonpartisan organization formed to address the challenge of effective execution of public policies and to rebuild public trust in government. The Fellowship supports opportunities for UNC undergraduate public policy majors to engage in work that improves the quality of life for North Carolinians.
