    • Post Appointment Manager
      • Sep 2012 - Mar 2016

I initially started with the company as a Case Manager, this role included a variety of tasks including the completion of reports to creditors and debtors, credit control and the management of a personal case load of debtors. Seven months after commencing my employment with Mitchell Farrar I was promoted to Pre Appointment Manager. In this role I was managing a team of three Drafters and a Meeting of Creditor’s team of two people. I had to oversee the day to day running of Pre Appointment and report on both weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicator’s. I conducted a variety of case and document checks as well as call auditing. I also had to set and ensure that monthly targets across the team were met. Whilst in this role I created comprehensive written processes for both IVA’s and Trust Deed’s. Around the time of the change in Trust Deed Regulations in November 2013, I spent a lot of time working closely with the Insolvency Practitioner and the system provider, VisionBlue, to ensure that the relevant documents were amended accordingly and met the desired standard for Mitchell Farrar. In February 2015 I became Manager of the Post Appointment team. Here my role consisted of the day to day running of the department, one to ones, annual appraisals, weekly and monthly KPI reports for the management team, ensuring that team targets were met and exceeded as well as any ad hoc duties that were requested of me by the Managing Director. I also took on many projects along side my personal workload. I spent a significant amount of time working on the company website. I also worked very closely with our system provider, VisionBlue, and was the sole point of contact for any system issues or improvements when required. I also worked closely with My Insolvency Report as they developed a client portal 'My Own Reports' testing their software to ensure suitability for Mitchell Farrar as well as other companies in the Insolvency industry. Having joined Wilson Andrews as Administrative Support, I quickly moved up to become a Trust Deed advisor, it was in this role that I won the Employee of the Quarter award. My role was to take a non-judgemental, sympathetic approach to providing a solution to clients' financial troubles and making sure they are pursuing the correct product for their situation. I had personal and team targets to work towards on a monthly basis ensuring I was fully compliant on all calls. I was responsible for my own case load of clients', speaking to them on a daily basis whilst setting up their Trust Deed, composing income and expenditures and explanations of each specific client's circumstances to go to our team of Insolvency Practitioners to review. Once the file had been reviewed I then completed the legal documentation to be sent out to the client. In addition to this I also helped support the Team Leader with daily duties and compiling month end figures. Show less
