Sarah was treasurer of the Library and Information Science Students Association when I was one of its co-presidents. As treasurer, Sarah deftly navigated a complicated budgeting system to get all the student groups in the MLIS program the funds they needed for their activities. She also supported LISSA throughout the year by keeping track of our accounts and processing reimbursements. Sarah carried out her duties with diligence and good cheer, even though the position didn’t involve much public recognition, and I really enjoyed working with her.
