After my 1L year, I interned at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington's Hogar Immigrant Services. While I was there, I had two main responsibilities. First, I worked directly with clients, drafting cover letters and assembling a variety of immigration applications including those for naturalization, adjustment of status, and DACA renewal. Second, I researched and wrote memoranda for the attorneys on legal questions related to their current clients and their immigration concerns.
