    • Animal Husbandry Intern
      • Aug 2018 - Nov 2018

An Animal Husbandry intern for the Schiele Museum of Natural History gets to experience what it's like to care for animals that are kept in a museum. The animals themselves varied from different types of reptiles, amphibians, and mammals and one owl. Most of the animals were rescues that are now being used for educational purposes. The intern also gets to help out with educational events that involve letting people see the animals up close, this gave us the opportunity to share our knowledge with the general public. Show less

For this internship I wrote extended labels for several pieces of art at Randolph College. The information on the artists and the paintings themselves was very limited so it required me to research about the authors and their other work to write them. This also helped to add information to the folders that were kept about each author. For this internship I wrote extended labels for several pieces of art at Randolph College.
