      *Advised the Journalism pathway at Da Vinci Communications. During my time as adviser: -Students won three national student journalism awards -The pathway expanded 4x in student numbers and I developed a Journalism I and Journalism II program -The student publication grew from a strictly writing publication to a multimedia publication that included writing departments, a broadcast news show, podcasts, video segments, and photojournalism -I pioneered a partnership with the LA Times and learning opportunities for students such as the Op Docs Film Festival, Da Vinci Photo Workshop, internships, and a podcasting seminar -My students led a journalism summer camp for elementary students For the first two years, I also worked as the 11th grade English Teacher.
