  I served as the liaison between MSU’s Chinese Language Teacher Certification Program (CLTCP), K-12 partner districts, and intern teachers. I coordinated and administrated students’ internship placements. I have organized, written, and presented teacher training/orientation/professional development sessions both in the US and in China. I served as the administrator for our annual Chinese language and culture summer camps and Chinese language tutoring as well as provided oversight to our program's pre-service field experiences. I was responsible for recruitment of our partner K-12 school districts, helping districts secure teaching permits through the MDE, and providing professional development opportunities and support for Chinese language programs. I provided coaching for our intern teachers at both the individual intern and partner district levels. I represented the CLCTP and MSU's Confucius Institute as an exhibitor at multiple conferences. I taught TE 894 (graduate & internship level course from 2018-2021) as a field instructor on the Chinese Language Teacher Certification program. Show less
