  Under the guidance of Professor Michael Penn, PhD., I undertook a community-based study to assess the how the Sex Offender Registry affects an offender's mental health and well-being. I was looking to see the impact of being designated a “sex offender” on the psychological health of men living in Lancaster City. This study, the first of its kind, revealed that these psychological effects can be harmful to pre-existing mental health disorders and make it more likely for someone to re-offend.

These included Teamwork, a community service day for athletes to go into the Lancaster community and volunteer, a Professor Appreciation Reception, Track-or-Treat, a trick-or-treating event for Lancaster families, and the Lancaster-Lebanon High School Leadership Day, a leadership workshop for high school student athletes.
