Xoserve is the Central Data Service Provider (central body) and manages the systems and data for the gas industry. The systems, processes and data managed by Xoserve are crucial to the effective operation of the gas industry.- Key member of senior leadership team.- Accountable for managing legal risk across the business (including horizon scanning and proactively managing future risk)- Managed small but brilliant team (average 4 lawyers) including legal strategy development and implementation. - Accountable for the company's "Doing the Right Thing" policy (and umbrella policy covering ethical, responsible and legally compliant behaviour and controls) and managing legal compliance.- Responsible for legal budget and relationships with external lawyers.- Led legal support on multiple significant IT and regulatory change projects including an ongoing programme of updating and replacing key IT systems for the gas industry,- Led legal support on the Xoserve Funding Governance and Ownership Review.- Led legal support on the restructuring of Xoserve to enable innovation and growth for the company and the energy industry including formation and sale of a subsidiary (Correla Limited).
