I am a department head responsible for the selling, planning and coordinating of all aspects of Private Events and Golf Tournaments. Our current office operates as a multiple person sales office with direct management of other people. As an Event Director I help develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships. We sell and market to external markets which may encompass corporate events, meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, and personal milestone events; other may include holiday parties, celebrations of life, school athletic banquets, and fundraisers.I also act as an ambassador for the property, fostering relationships with individuals & corporations who book events to maintain repeatable and predictable business while prospecting for new events. I am always looking for new ways to heighten awareness externally within the community from the club to bridal shows, golf shows and other public events.It is my responsibility to be a positive role model in both social media formats and public forums by being active and showing consistent participation in all public facing opportunities. In addition to the event side, I maximize tournament revenue and meet or exceed sales goals and budgets through the sales to corporate, non profit or social golf groups.
